What we collect
- What you type into our forms: your name, email address, phone number, the class or appointment you book, and anything you write to us (for example your sport, goals or how you heard about us).
- How you reached us: the ad, link or search that brought you to the site (for example the source, campaign and ad name in the link), and the page language.
- Website activity: pages viewed and actions such as booking, collected through cookies and similar tools described below.
- If you join, your membership and payment status. Card details are entered on Stripe's pages and never reach our servers.
How we use it
- To book and confirm your class or appointment, remind you of it, and answer your questions.
- To follow up about the class or service you asked about. You can tell us to stop at any time.
- To understand which ads and pages bring people to the Lab, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested.
- To run and secure the website.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies, advertising and analytics
We use the Meta Pixel and Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics on this website. The Meta Pixel sets cookies and sends information about your visit (such as the pages you viewed, that you booked a class, and your browser and device) to Meta, which uses it to measure our ads and to show our ads to you and to people like you on its services. Google Analytics counts visits and pages; we use it to see which pages people read. Meta and Google handle that information under their own privacy policies.
The pixel receives the name of what you did, for example that a class was booked. It does not receive the class or test you chose, your name, email address or phone number, and nothing you type into a form.
You can limit this by blocking cookies in your browser, using your browser's tracking protection, or changing your ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences. The website works with these cookies blocked. To turn the Meta Pixel off on this site, use the "Your ad choices" link at the bottom of every page. Browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal are opted out automatically.
Pages you reach from a private link in an email, such as your scorecard, your month card or the page that manages an appointment, load no analytics and no pixel.
Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in to text messages on one of our forms, we text you about your request and bookings: confirmations, reminders, and replies from our staff. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Opting in is optional and is not a condition of booking or buying anything. We record when and where you gave consent.
We do not share mobile phone numbers or text message opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We only share them with the service providers that deliver our texts for us (such as our messaging provider, Twilio), who may not use them for anything else.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that run the Lab and the website for us: website hosting, database hosting, email delivery, text message delivery, payment processing (Stripe), and the advertising and analytics tools named above.
- If you train at the Lab, your coaches and authorized staff.
- Authorities, if the law requires it or to protect the safety of our members, staff or the public.
Retention
We keep form and booking information for as long as we are in contact with you, and up to three years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Records we must keep by law, such as signed waivers, are kept as long as required.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it or delete it, and opt out of texts (reply STOP) or emails (use the unsubscribe link or tell us). Email onyx@onyxperformancelab.com or call (786) 761-0304. We answer verified requests within 30 days.
Children
This website and our free class are for adults. Youth athletes are enrolled by a parent or guardian, who fills in the forms.
